Grant Guidelines

What is Lamar Gives 365?

Lamar Gives 365 is a program of the Barnesville-Lamar Community Foundation (BLCF) designed to bring people together to improve the community.  Each member gives $365 per year — one dollar a day — to make the community a better place.  The contributions from the members are pooled together.  Half of the money is available for grants this year, and the other half is placed in an endowment for the future.  The members will research the applicant organizations and listen to the two-minute presentations at a grant finalist event to be held in February.  Then, they will vote to select the grant recipients.
